Honda Motor Co. has announced several updates and added some new features to the 2011 Honda Fit. Some of the new updates for the 2011 Honda Fit include Vehicle Stability Assist or VSA as standard equipment, along with more comfort and convenience features.
The company said that the new features that are added on the Fit include cruise control, remote entry, a USB audio interface and VSA. Along with the carpeted floor mats, the Fit Sport also gains VSA for 2011. The new 2011 Fit is offered in four new colors: Alabaster Silver Metallic, Polished Metal Metallic, Celestial Blue Metallic and Vortex Blue Pearl.
Under the hoods, the Fit features a 1.5-liter, i-VTEC 4-cylinder engine that is tuned to deliver a rewarding combination of power and fuel economy. The new vehicle comes with an option of five-speed manual transmission and a five-speed automatic transmission. 1.5-liter, i-VTEC 4-cylinder engine generates a power of 117 hp at 6,600 rpm and a torque of 106 lb-ft. at 4,800 rpm.
